Sunday, March 30, 2014. A sewn reversible messenger bag. I 've nearly completely my first handmade bag. When it is completely done, I will show it turned both ways. Now that I see it, the bright, colorful fruit pattern might make for a good lunch bag. I will have to see how it looks turned the other way! Friday, January 9, 2015. Taking down the Christmas tree, and put up the little 2 foot Valentine tree today. Its very cute. I found the pink lights at Big Lots yesterday, and that sort of cinched the deal. Almost all of the ornaments and chains (garlands) were made previous years by the grands. I took photos from all three sides. I know, I'm just a silly Chika! Now I am slowly working on finishing the other tree takedown. Here are some Swedish Heart baskets that Emmie and I made from Christmas cards!

Saturday, May 23, 2015. I have some random things to show here. Most has been seen on Facebook already. First, I want to say have a happy, fun, and safe Memorial Day weekend. God bless our military! Thank you to my son, too, for his 5 years of military service! I am very proud of you! Love you, Brent! Her she is making the "disco ball". Here it is finished . We wrapped multi colored garland on it with hot glue gun and hung it up. Of course, we had to hang up streamers too! I have to say, I am intrigued!
