Feathers & Ink: Please pray for Shelly
http://feathersandink.blogspot.com/2008/06/please-pray-for-shelly_14.html
Saturday, June 14, 2008. Please pray for Shelly. Shelly asked for me on Sunday and I am so grateful that she did. I got to sit at her feet and to hold her hand, kiss her head and tell her I love her. She of course replied that she loved me too, as we always did. I still cannot fathom why such a beautiful soul as Shelly has been allowed to suffer with such a hideous disease as the cancer that ravages her body as we speak. Oh faith you are a fragile thing. When prayers are left. Seem to lay in useless dust.

Feathers & Ink: Prayer Request for my Son, my Father, my Stepfather
http://feathersandink.blogspot.com/2009/06/prayer-request-for-my-son-my-father-my.html
Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Prayer Request for my Son, my Father, my Stepfather. We have some health issues going on in my family outside of the normal prayer requests for my Father's ongoing cancer. Shane, my 12 year old, (he turned 12 yeseterday and spent it in bed with no fun at all.poor baby), has been home sick all week with the flu. He has a high fever and is lethargic, can barely speak and is just plain miserable. I haven't seen him this sick for years. He won't even eat candy! My stepfather, Marty, ...

Embellished Paper: September 2013
http://embellishedpaper.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 29, 2013. I've seen this idea all over pinterest and knew I had to make one for Benjamin. This whole project was really cheap to create. I bought the cozy coupe at a garage sale and then just had to buy some black spray paint (I think one can was enough) and the batman decal (which I purchased on ebay at Doctor Decal. Ben is still too little to use this by himself, but he sure loves sitting in it while we push him around! Links to this post. Monday, September 23, 2013. Links to this post.

Embellished Paper: June 2012
http://embellishedpaper.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. Meet Benjamin, the newest addition to our family. He was born three months early on April 28 at only 1 pound 11 ounces (small for his gestational age) and 13 inches long. This was the first picture ever taken of Benjamin after he was taken to the NICU and a lot of medical things done to him (including the cpap to help him breathe that is on his face). This is him as of yesterday. He is just over 3 1/2 pounds and is 15.5 inches long. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Embellished Paper: January 2014
http://embellishedpaper.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Magnetic Children's Art Display. I have recently sacrificed my craft room. And converted it into a playroom for Benjamin. Ben loves to colour already and I wanted to find a fun way to display his art that would be quick and easy to change out with each new masterpiece. I looked all over pinterest and found many different ideas, but wasn't a huge fan of any of them until I saw this one. I love the way it turned out and Ben does too, it got a "WOW" when he saw it!

Embellished Paper: DIY Growth Chart
http://embellishedpaper.blogspot.com/2013/10/diy-growth-chart.html
Monday, October 7, 2013. I've seen these wood growth charts all over pinterest and at baby expos, but I never like the colours of the ones you can purchase, and they wouldn't go with the wood/decor in our house, so I decided to make my own. Once it was all done, Grant and I hung it where I wanted it and we plan to start marking Ben's growth yearly on his birthday. I have his measurement from his first birthday so I can add that one to it too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Check out my SCS Gallery.
