Creatures I see: August 2010

http://creatureboom.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 9, 2010. This photo was taken many years ago during one of my numerous vacations at Genting Highlands when my kids were still very young with a conventional camera. I would have dropped the poor creature if I had agreed to let it rest on my hand. Posted by Mum :P. Sunday, August 8, 2010. The art of monkey grooming at its best. Ahhhh I feel soooo good!

So I took this shot from a safe distance just in case. Still, it was my first encounter with this particular specie of dragonfly. On the side of a drain, I spotted this common forest-skimmer.
