Dienstag, 23. September 2014. Prächtiges Wetter lockte zu einer Abschlusstour. Es begann wie an unserem ersten Urlaubstag mit einer Fahrt hinauf zum Gornergrat. Das Wetter war noch besser als am Sonntag unserer Ankunft geworden: klare Sicht nach allen Seiten. Es lag aber mehr Schnee auf den hohen Bergen, und gerade am Morgen war es ziemlich kalt: 3 Grad heute früh auf unserer Terrasse! Und hier nun eine Auswahl. Die Fluhalp liegt auf 2.620 m ü. Meer, mitten im Wander- bzw. Skigebiet Sunegga-Blauherd Rothorn und ist erreichbar im Sommer über Zermatt, Sunegga Blauherd, bzw. über Wanderweg Täschalp-Sunegga (siehe Karte). Ausgangspunkt zum Oberrothorn 3415m ca. 2 Std - Europas höchstgelegenen Wander und Trekkingberg. Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten im Sommer ab Ende Juni bis Oktober. Während den Wintermonaten nur Restaurationsbetrieb (Dezember Ende April). Offen ab Ende Juni bis Anfang Oktober. Die Fluhalp im Sommer.
