Kudzu Spirit: The Philadelphia Missives. Tuesday, May 27. So perhaps Kudzu hasn't yet invaded past Virginia - but there certainly was an awful lot of tangled vine in Philadelphia. The traffic was abysmal outside of Providence and the Bronx, but the scenery was lovely while the sunlight lasted, and you can count on Jingle to make any ride amusing. The rain pounded down unremittingly from the SouthCoast all the way through Jersey City, which did take a toll on our nerves, but we're resilient creatures.

Thursday, July 24. It's pouring buckets outside. An absolute deluge. I ran out into it and was soaked to the skin in under a minute. No thundering, no chill, just the beat of the rain - it drowned out my voice. I feel so joyful right now for being alive and human. At home, unexpectedly. Thursday, July 10. Harrumph.
