Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: All the small things: 9. Bush Hall
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/06/all-small-things-9-bush-hall.html
Thursday, 9 June 2011. All the small things: 9. Bush Hall. Continuing my "All the small things" that I like most about living in Shepherd's Bush, it is a shock and, quite frankly, a disappointment that I haven't yet written about Bush Hall. Which after my flat is possibly my favourite place in Shepherd's Bush. It is certainly my most favourite live music venue in London. If you already think so you can support the Bush Hall in NME's competition to find the best small venue in UK. Labels: about the bush.

Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: Tell me why?
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/06/tell-me-why.html
Thursday, 30 June 2011. Tell me why have I never been to the Albertine Wine Bar before? This was the question that was circulating around my head from the moment I walked across the threshold into this traditional, almost continental looking wine bar. I was still questioning why two glasses of delicious white wine later as I stepped outside onto the obliviously busy Wood Lane. Because I was there to meet a fellow local blogger/networker/marketing guru, David Wood. Of Best of Hammersmith and Fulham. Get B...

Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: The End
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/11/end.html
Sunday, 20 November 2011. I stopped living in Shepherd's Bush in September 2011 after over four years of experiencing the good, the bad and the ugly sides of W12, London, UK. I have since left London and am now (November 2011) travelling around south east Asia and am due to land in Australia in time for Christmas. You can read more about my leaving the Bush and my decision to go travelling here. You can also follow. My journey, quite literally As the Bird flies, over on my new blog. All the posts about t...

Travel adventures…and misadventures. The Roamantics Turns 1- My 7 Links of the Year. Returning “Home” to the Bay. Never Say Never- What I Learned From Rock Stars. When it came time to sell everything to travel. My drums were emotionally easy to let go of in the first round of purging. I put an ad on Craigslist and within a few hours, I had two responses from the same person Hi, can I come pick-up your cool drum set? Going to get that price. I’ll be lucky not to have to donate them. Never say Never is rig...

Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: You wanna be in my gang?
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/08/you-wanna-be-in-my-gang.html
Wednesday, 3 August 2011. You wanna be in my gang? I have to say I did hesitate on this selection of choice lyric for obvious reasons, but sometimes I find it hard to find a fitting lyric as a blog title and in desperate times. Anyway, it isn't my gang; it is Bush Theatre's. Gang Or rather their Bush Local. Club A dedicated club for local people to benefit from a wide range of reductions and special offers. Best of all, becoming a member is free. 163;10 tickets to previews. So what are you waiting for?

Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: I'm a survivor!
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/11/im-survivor.html
Friday, 4 November 2011. There's a reason some people shudder or cringe a little at the very thought of living in Shepherd's Bush. There's a reason that they sometimes doubt your own choice to do just that. There's also a reason people prefer other pockets of London, even if they are more expensive and more inconvenient in terms of transport links and facilities, the silly billies. And I've reviewed far too many local restaurants so do check out these posts for more inspiration on the About the Bush page.

Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: Back once again...
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2011/09/back-once-again.html
Thursday, 15 September 2011. Though I have no firm idea where I'll be on 2nd June 2012, there is a possibility that it will be in Shepherd's Bush enjoying Bushstock 2012. The team at Communion Records announced the date for Bushstock 2012 and Early Bird tickets are already on store. I think I'm right in saying that that will be the weekend of the Queen's 60th Jubilee so there will be an extra bank holiday, so basically, no excuses! Posted by Frankie Thompson. Bird in the Bush - A blog about life in Shepherd's Bush: I love to laugh, loud and long and clear...
http://www.bushbirdie.com/2010/11/i-love-to-laugh-loud-and-long-and-clear.html
Monday, 22 November 2010. I love to laugh, loud and long and clear. In the early stages of this blog I reviewed a very good comedy night. In Shepherd's Bush called Knock2bag. Nearly a year on I decided I was in serious need of a laugh again and so a few weeks ago flatmate Mo (the nice new one). And I made our way to the comedy night in one of Shepherd's Bush's premium night spots, the converted subterranean Edwardian public convenience (i.e. old underground toilets) that is Ginglik. A foursome who worked...
