Lee's Fly Fishing Blog. Friday, July 10, 2009. The Last 2 Weeks. Between guiding clients and spending time with Rachel I was flat worn out by the time she returned home but that day my buddy Patrick arrived and we hit the river hard for a few days. Beginning with the Taylor I joined him after work and was pumped when we got a huge brown in the net. It measured 23" in the net and the picture turned out fantastic. July 11, 2009 at 11:04 AM. Lee's Fly Fishing Blog. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Soon President Obama will plan to sign the much debated trillion dollar stimulus passage and many in the fishing world on the west coast can get excited. Lee's Fly Fishing Blog. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Travels, Fish, and Friends. Gals on the River Photos. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Gals on the River. I have a few things that I personally found to be helpful to keep in mind when introducing Rachel to the sport I love. 1 Keep it fun. The overall goal that many forget is that fly fishing is supposed to be fun. 2 Do all the rigging up and preparations yourself. Lee's Fly Fishing Blog: May 2009
http://leesflyfishingblog.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Lee's Fly Fishing Blog. Monday, May 11, 2009. After leaving the camp I drove around the state eventually ending up camping for a few days in my car in Eleven Mile Canyon on the famous South Platte River. I had no clue what I was doing and was quickly humbled by the selective fish. I managed to catch a few but no matter, I was hooked for life. First, it was rivers systems in New Mexico and then up to Colorado. We have even managed to scrap together some money to take several saltwater trips to Belize.
