Andrew Ranger will make his first laps at Daytona International Speedway this week-end as he will drive the DGM Racing entry for the ARCA tests. Ranger will have on his side another French Canadian as Mario Gosselin will be on site to coach him. Villeneuve will have to fight his way through qualifying for the race as the car entered is not in the top 35 in the owners standings. According to an article in the Journal de Montréal, young Andrew Ranger ran the 16th fastest time out of 64 entries this saturday at Daytona International Speedway. These tests were run in preparation for the first race of the ARCA season to be run at the same location. WTCC - Priaulx champion pour une troisième fois. La 2e course de la journée a ensuite confirmé les aspirations de Priaulx alors qu'il a mené de fil en fil pendant que son rival Muller était dans l'impossibilité de prendre le départ. Priaulx remporte ainsi une 3e couronne mondiale d'affilée (en fait, une 4e si l'on compte l'année précédente alors que le championnat n'était qu'européen (ETCC). Il termine finalement avec 11 points d'avance sur Yvan Muller et 13 sur son compatriote Anglais James Thompson.

DTM - Mercedes riposte. Tel que prévu, Mercedes a mis un terme à la domination de Audi lors de l'épreuve de DTM week-end dernier à Mugello. La course s'annonçait pourtant bien pour Audi, dont les voitures occupaient 3 des 4 premières positions de départ.
