The Flying Squad Flyball Club. The Flying Squad Flyball club was founded in 1999 and we are based in Surrey, BC, Canada. We are a group of loving dog owners running a team of diverse breeds and mixes. Our dogs are all ages from rookies to veterans, but one thing they all have in common is they LOVE flyball! The Flying Squad Flyball Club. The Flying Squad is a competitive and successful flyball team due to our dedicated team members all striving to reach the same goals. We hold practices twice per week one weeknight practice and one on Saturday morning. We don't practice on long weekends or the week following a tournament. The Flying Squad Flyball Club. We're a daughter/mother team who joined the Flying Squad in March of 2012, with our Jack Russell Terrier, Lola. She is full of energy and just loves running and chasing after the ball. We love competition and are very competitive and hope Lola is very successful with this team. Last Thursday when I came home from work, Cam announced that he felt crappy and I saw he had an elevated temperature so immediately called the cancer clinic after hours line and was told by the on-call Oncologist. Shanas breast cancer and Cams lymphoma journey. Friday, December 21, 2012. How about an update? These pics to the left are Cam getting ready for surgery to remove the irritating lump in his throat. That was Oct 24. Then the pathology came back to our shock and surprise indicating lymphoma. We have since learned that lymphoma isn't really 'solved' by surgery. So if we had some way of knowing this was lymphoma prior, there wouldn't have been any surgery - just the chemo to get rid of it. With 2 young kids!

Just before Cam's 3rd chemo, he caught a cold and along with struggling through the challenge of chemo, also struggled with feeling crappy with a cold as well. Just returned home from the appointment with the oncologist who reported that Cam's PET scan came back 'negative' and it all looked good!
