Blue Sky View: Mermaid Lights
http://blueskyview.blogspot.com/2007/03/mermaid-lights.html
Outlook: CAVU for this pilot thanks to family and friends. Sunday, March 18, 2007. At night, when ceilings and visibility are down low (say 300' and 3/4 mile), ground lights try to lead you astray! Like the siren songs of mermaids tempting lost sailors onto the rocks, those ground lights you see aren't the REILs! The call to dispatch may or may not find sympathy, yeah it's 3am with 100' and 1/4 mile and what are you gonna do boy? Talk doesn't cook rice! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Up in The Air.

Outlook: CAVU for this pilot thanks to family and friends. Sunday, September 16, 2007. Like sands thru the hourglass . . . Suffice it to say that way, way, way too much time has elapsed since my last post. Thankfully I'm still around, haven't crashed-and-burned, and am soaring to new heights of busyness.
