Japan Day 5 - Tokyo. Next day was spent at Disneysea in Tokyo. We took the JR line Yamanote line to Tokyo station, before changing to JR Keiyo line and stop at Maihama station. A short post on some thoughts i had about my trip to Canada, and my solo travelling. Canada is a truly beautiful country. I think i'll never forget the beautiful maple trees, the wonderful Ottawa River and Rideau River, the spectacular Notre Dame Basilica and Parliament Hill, as well as the pretty snowflakes falling over the river and accumulating on the grounds. While the government has been commenting that the recent conflict in Aware is an internal issue and hopefully an isolated incident, the incident does provide an indication of an increasingly worrying trend in Singapore: the increasing lack of common space and the increasing extremist me-first attitude of Singaporeans.
