For this project, we had to free draw two positions of our hands and use the different water color techniques (salt technique, variegated wash, graded wash, wet to wet technique, flat wash, dry brush technique, crayon resist technique, and masking tape technique). This test was taken at the end of our unit, the reproduction system. We all had to study the female and male reproduction system and then be tested on it and show our knowledge about biology. Oh boy. American Conflict was one interesting class. For this unit, we were learning how to re-purpose different ways of literature (narratives, art, films). This was a very difficult task because we had to c raft a 1-page excerpt from a modern-day narrative addressing one of the causes of sectionalism today using the voice reflected in the slave narrative I studied. Year, she struggled to complete HW assignments in ISM. Tricking herself into believing that because she was doing good, a few missing HW assignments wouldn't affect her that badly. Turned out it did. At the end of the year she had to make up all the missing assignments to get credit and that caused nearly unbearable stress.
