Chapbook for Creative Writing. Writing 3C 9.5. And wings to match. Shake them and a feather falls. When you grant a wish. Luminous green orbs wink. With a slice of darkness down the center. Tail swishes, charcoal snake. Pink tongue laps a paw. Run fang over feather. Yet such power lies within. That it’s a shock you land so lightly. Won’t you grant my wish? Countless times you’ve heard those words. So tuck your tail. And smooth your whiskers. The wish must be dearly yearned for. Coin in a well.

Sample Work from 2012. This was the first assignment in media of my first year. It was an abstract self-portrait made with an ink-blot. I outlined the paint splotches after they dried and added text in the background. These are pages from my IWB. Here, the process I used to perfect the final linoleum print is apparent. For my internship, I had the role of a volunteer in the butterfly conservatory. I would work for two or three hours at a time, doing various tasks such as:. Answering questions for museum visitors and engaging in conversation about the butterflies. Dusting butterflies from the ceilings and walls to keep them from becoming dehydrated. Spraying the plants with water to supply the butterflies with water and to raise the level of humidity. Keeping an eye out for injured butterflies and removing dead ones.

Chemistry 1.3: Explain how systems in nature tend to undergo changes toward lower energy and higher entropy using collision theory and Le Chatlier's Principle. Writing 4: Develop and organize writing to match the required task, purpose, and audience. This project shows some of my best work from Chemistry and it is a creative project that I enjoyed working on. It is from the end of the year, so it shows the progress I have made in this class. Social Studies 3: Identify and evaluate political turning points.
