Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Stats for week ending 01/28/2007. By the end of this week, I was REALLY feeling the residual fatigue of the past seven weeks, a mini-block intended to really jump-start my season. While I managed to get out the door for every workout this week (a huge accomplishment in itself! Bike: 131.58 miles (3). Run: 36 miles (5). Swim: 17,500 yards (5). Weekly Bike TSS/IF: 417.6/.822. The SBR Life: March 2005
http://sbrlife.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Monday, March 21, 2005. Ralph's Half-Ironman Race Report. After a couple seconds, we realized that it was, and we took off, arms flailing and legs churning. I put my head down and swam, determined to deal with the chaos as best I could, knowing that it would clear eventually. My last thought as we headed out on the swim course was that this would very likely be the day I christened my bike. After climbing up the boa...

Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Friday, August 06, 2004. My race numbers from Vineman are unreadable, but still faintly visible on my skin. It's sort of depressing to watch them fade, as they're the last physical link I have to the race (especially now that the muscular soreness has all but departed as well). Posted by cramer @ 2:25 AM. Thursday, August 05, 2004. Vineman HIM Race Report. Vineman HIM was my seventh triathlon overall, and my second ...

Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Thursday, February 17, 2005. Keeping it rolling . Out of bed at 4:45am, quick breakfast of OJ and low-fat yogurt, and rolling by about 5:20am. I've noticed that hopping out of bed and getting right on the bike never really gives my legs time to wake up, and this morning was no exception, so the first 45 minutes or so was a struggle to get juice to the legs. I f. Posted by cramer @ 11:00 PM. This was a great. The 200...

Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Thursday, June 30, 2005. Ironman Coeur d'Alene Race Report. Though I wasn't able to get more than a few hours of solid sleep due to nerves, I awoke race morning feeling fresh and ready to go. I dressed, packed the final supplies into my bags, and headed down to the race start. With a few hundred yards to go, I tried to stretch out my stroke a bit and kick a bit more, in an attempt to prepare my body for the bike....

The SBR Life: Old school multisport
http://sbrlife.blogspot.com/2005/06/old-school-multisport.html
Random thoughts and musings that bubble up as I swim, bike, and run my way through life . Friday, June 10, 2005. On Slowtwitch today and had to post it here. Given where I am in my life, opportunities for these kinds of epic escapades are infrequent at best. No regrets at all- there's no place I'd rather be, but it's still fun to see what's happening out there in the world of crazy multisport athletics. Posted by cramer @ 11:31 PM.
