Bright Spot in a Tough Week. Thankfully, it was evidence that God really doesn't give you more than we can handle, as it's been a really tough week. So please add my sister Lynne to any prayer lists out there. She's an amazing woman who has fought a tremendous battle against a formidable foe, and her faith and spirit has not waned. Bobby's checkup Thursday with Dr Fell went great. It's been less than 3 weeks since surgery, and he's already been cleared to resume regular activities. It's great to have him back to driving and mowing the grass, and yesterday he even took a short (17 mile) bike ride. He really is pretty amazing. Looking ahead to the next step,. A Long, Hot, Wonderful Summer. We went to our appointment with Dr Keller last Thursday with quite a bit of apprehension. What had the cancer done after being left untreated for 3 months? Did we make a mistake taking such a long break? Wouldn't it be wonderful if it had miraculously disappeared? Bobby certainly felt well enough to entertain that possibility. He rode his bike a lot over the summer, even had his longest ride ever - 60 miles on his 59th birthday in August. Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
