Justin Times: October 2005

Monday, October 31, 2005. Good News and Bad News. Oddly enough, there's not much else to say. However, we did decorate at work (Student Computing Center) for Halloween. We put up webs, spiders, and skeletons on the walls (not real ones, of course;) ). We even put web all over the Associate Director's (he's about 2 steps below the head honcho of Texas A&M) office door along with "Caution" tape. It looked really cool! Apparently, has a good sense of humor because nobody's been fired yet. By the way, my con...

Sunday, April 16, 2006. I figured it was over then and almost had closure when the recruiter that was assigned to me called me on my cell 20 minutes later. He said if I could get the relevant paperwork for the medical questionnaire, they would send it in to the folks who give the physical in. To see if I could pass. I agreed and was able to get the paperwork without too much difficulty, so I'm expecting an answer within the next couple of days. Posted by cpuaggie at 10:25 PM. Saturday, April 08, 2006.

Sunday, September 25, 2005. All Clear, But No Water? After much anticipation and worry over hurricane Rita, she ended up completely bypassing Texas A&M. In one respect, it is quite a blessing. Nobody was hurt and no damage whatsoever was done to the campus. On the other hand, school will be back to normal tomorrow.:( It was nice to have a long weekend, though because we do not get Labor Day off. There was just one minor technicality: what do I do about all the extra snacks and sports drinks I bought?

Lee and Beth Wilson. Monday, March 27, 2006. Adventures in Train Hopping II. Well, a couple days is a really long time in Eastern Standard Seminary Student Time evidently. When we went to Chicago last September to watch Lee's beloved Cubbies and Beth's amazing Astros battle it out at Wrigley Field, we had several adventures that are worth sharing. Suddenly, in a panic, Beth blurted out "They're in the train! Now, that is a mood changer if I have ever heard one. In an instant we both envisioned that t...

Lee and Beth Wilson. Monday, September 26, 2005. Adventures in Train Hopping. Lee had never been to Wrigley field, so Beth got him tickets as a wedding present and they ventured North to Chicago to watch the cubbies get beat by the Astros, but it was a blast. Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the poor man.". Posted by Wilson at 2:09 PM. Well, thi...

Thursday, May 25, 2006. TAMU PTTS Gestapo vs The Justinator. I was able to get a little help with three big things, but the rest was up to me. I kept going upstairs, grabbing a few more things, down to the car in the street, back up to the dorm, grab a few things, back down to the car, etc, etc. I was bringing down another load when I happened to notice something fluttering on my windshield. "What? Here I was parking in a designated loading area, loading everything on my own, and I get a citation! We wer...
