36 Weeks | Finding Focus
https://focusonwhatmatters.wordpress.com/2012/06/15/36-weeks
Focus On What Matters. This pregnancy is starting to get interesting! We have a little less than a month left! We had another ultrasound last week, most likely our last one. Charlotte is still measuring big, but her percentile has dropped a little more. So at 35 1/2 weeks, she was weighing in a 6 lbs 6 oz! So if she is supposed to be gaining about half a pound a week, that puts her at almost 7 lbs by now! I have been having contractions like crazy! I am now dilated 1 cm and have some effacement. I fi...
Charlotte Grace | Finding Focus
https://focusonwhatmatters.wordpress.com/2012/11/09/charlotte-grace
Focus On What Matters. Well, it’s hard to believe that Charlotte is almost five months old already! Oh my, how time flies! I can’t imagine life without my newest little miracle! I just want to hold her and snuggle with her all the time! She makes my heart smile! Charlotte was born June 19th at 10:51 am, weighing in at 6 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long! Perfectly healthy and remains healthy! Such a relief, since she was a little early! As usual, I was in labor for what seemed like an eternity! The shoot went ...
P.O.W. | Finding Focus
https://focusonwhatmatters.wordpress.com/2012/05/23/p-o-w
Focus On What Matters. Recently I had a discussion with a friend about what parenting was like. We were discussing life with kids and the trials and tribulations that go along with it. This friend does not have young children of her own, but has experience with them and has young children relatives, so she gets it! You might find my parenting analogy, that I explained to her that day, as a little odd, and some of you with realize how true it is! So what was the analogy? Think I’m over exaggerating? And t...
Big Stick | Finding Focus
https://focusonwhatmatters.wordpress.com/2012/06/02/big-stick
Focus On What Matters. Is it just me, or do nurses kinda freak you out for just a moment, when they say “big stick” right before they jab a needle in your arm, or in my case, hip/butt? I jumped a little or my legs gave out a little every time I got a progesterone shot. The “big stick” warning never prepared me for the pain – sorry nurse – but the “I’m sorry” I got afterwards did, on some level, help a little! Today I had my last progesterone shot! I’m so glad that they are finally done for good! ThatR...
Little Miss – 6 Months! | Finding Focus
https://focusonwhatmatters.wordpress.com/2013/01/05/little-miss-6-months
Focus On What Matters. Little Miss – 6 Months! Time really flies when you’re having fun, not sleeping through the night, and running yourself ragged! I wouldn’t change it for anything though! Life is quite amazing with my two little bambini! Charlotte turned 6 months old, 2 weeks ago! She had her 6 month well-check that week and she rocked it! She’s a whopping 16 lbs 13 oz, which is the 75 percentile. That’s a drop in percentile from her last well-check, but she is growing beautifully! They both actually...

Knieses' Pieces: The After-shot
http://keepingupwiththeknieses.blogspot.com/2011/07/after-shot.html
Bits and Pieces of the Lives of the Knieses! Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Something I've learned in photography recently, especially with reluctant preschoolers and children, is that sometimes the best shots come after the shot. A child that doesn't want their picture taken may be difficult for the shot, but if you take a picture (or pretend to) and then say, "okay done," and then take another one (quickly before they have time to move! You'll usually get the shot you were looking for in the first place!

Bits and Pieces of the Lives of the Knieses! Monday, November 22, 2010. We time flies when you're having fun! I'm already getting sad that Ryne is almost a year and a half. Yikes! Ryne is becoming more and more "fun! He's a ball of energy and learning new stuff everyday! Ryne is by far rocking his puzzles now. He's mastered most 2 years puzzles that we have and he's moved on to a 3 years puzzle of the ABC's. He LOVES doing puzzles! Knieses' Pieces: February 2011
http://keepingupwiththeknieses.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Bits and Pieces of the Lives of the Knieses! Monday, February 21, 2011. Today was an exciting day again in the Knies house! Ryne had a couple of 'firsts' today. I gave Ryne a bath about mid morning because he played outside ALL day yesterday and I knew he was probably a little sweaty after all that time outside. Anywho, Ryne said the word "poop" and I asked "Do you have to poop? Well of course, while I was asking, he started going! I was so excited! Usually your toothbrush is within 6 ft. 'Nough said!
Ellis Island: August 2012
http://heatherandmrak.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Because there's no place like home. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. I am a week late in posting! Thanks for noticing. : ) It's been a very busy week, and as of today we are actually at 23 weeks. Ah well. We will survive. Sawyer is really starting to get the hang of kicking. At first, I would only feel him at night between 9:30 and 11:00. Now, I feel him a lot during the day, too! And the kicks are getting harder. Mark actually saw my belly moving on Saturday, which was a treat for both of us. :0). My main preg...

Because there's no place like home. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. More stuff- (Post 6). Other things of note: We told our grandmothers today, for Mother's Day. Some of the best reactions so far. I also got some flowers for mother's day from my mother in law, which is weird because I don't feel super motherly yet and super sweet all the same. OMG Heavenly. They were amazing. Pregnancy gas could peel wallpaper off of the walls. Monday, May 28, 2012. More strange (Post 5). I guess we will see. : ). Mark and I we...
