OK, we rarely (OK, never) catch Amazon catfish off our docks, but we do catch fish (white perch and the (very) occasional striper (rockfish)! It's just another relaxing way to spend time at Fogg Cove. Two tennis courts,. Recently re-surfaced, are available. Kayaking or canoeing is popular, with kayak/canoe racks or floating dock space available. It's a short stroll from your unit to the Fogg Cove sand beach, which slopes gently (with a sand bottom! Out into the Miles River.

For the past two years the Association, thanks to the yeoman work of Mike Dann and Jerry Quance, have raised oysters through a local organization (oystersforthebay.com) that are used to populate oyster reserve areas in the Chesapeake Bay. These areas are designated by the state as "No Harvest" areas, and are designed to help clean up Bay waters. I think that raising oysters off the Association docks is one of the truly magnificent accomplishments of the Fogg Cove Homeowner’s Association!
