Ireland Blog Title Pending*. Day 18: The Great Blasket Island. After our time on the island had to come to a close, we boarded the dingy to the boat and made our way back to the mainland. We walked over to the Blasket Center where we ate lunch, chatted, and then revisited the historical collection for one last time. Ireland Blog Title Pending*. Day 17: Blasket Island Centre and Maria Simonds-Gooding. Today was a wonderful day. We started off by heading across the Dingle Peninsula to the Blasket Island Centre. Or Ionad and Bhlascoid Mhoir. This center is dedicated to immortalizing the lifestyle and the people that lived on the Great Blasket Island. After lunch we walked up the road to the house of an artist named Maria Simonds-Gooding. But I want to thank you for the time and effort you put in your posts.
