Segunda-feira, 5 de abril de 2010. Lhasa / Kathmandu - 12th Day. Camping (4200 m) - Lalung-La Pass (5214 m) - Camping (4000 m). This was the last day I had to climb above 5000m. After that the tour would become very easy (At least this was my thought). I was about to ride my bike in one of the longest and deepest downhill in the world! Almost 200km heading down from Lalung-La Pass with 5214 m high to the tropical valleys of Nepal! A wide valley after Old Tingri. The Shishapangma.a thought for a friend.

On my 7th day the sun woke up submerged in a deep blue "ocean" and the first streams were stronger enough to warm up our souls. The wind gusts, that almost made me fall off the bike on the day before, had disappeared before dawn as if by magic. After having another high energy breakfast, I started moving again towards the unknown! Again, I had a wonderful time in the place we choose...

Sexta-feira, 27 de agosto de 2010. Lhasa / Kathmandu - 15th Day - Kathmandu! Dhulikhel (1500m) - Kathmandu (1600m). Everything comes to an end.even the greatest experiences must come to an end…but it was with a deep feeling of completion, achievement and satisfaction that I finally made the last kilometers to Kathmandu. Despite the pollution and the noise, the 15th day was the easiest day of the journey…cycling 32 km from Dhulikhel to Kath was more like a “walk in the park”. The Hotel was really nice!

Após os dias de trekking pelas montanhas de Sapa e a visita ao mercado de Bac Ha, estavamos prontos para regressar a Ha Noi. Assim deixaram-nos na vila de Lào Cai, de onde partiria o comboio com destino a Há Nôi. Como estavamos no ultimo dia de um fim de semana festivo, só conseguimos lugar no comboio das 21.40h, o que implicava uma espera de 5 horas. Aeroporto de Noi Bai, Há Noí. Iniciámos a nossa viagem de regresso à Europa, com um voo interno que nos levou de Há Nôi a Ho Chi Minh, que durou 2 horas. Nos dois voos internos que fizemos no Viet Nam optámos sempre pela Jet Star, que é uma companhia aérea low-cost. O bilhete custou 146$ por pessoa.
