This is a really old beauty tip but I wanted to share it with you because it's so awesome! It is possible to get your hair a tone or two lighter by using lemon juice. When you're outside for the whole day (beach, etc.), squirt a lot of lemon juice in your hair. It doesn't smell. It's only a bit sticky and your hair may get somewhat greasy, but it seriously works!
