We expected Hezhan and Chera them to be released, but knew it was not likely for Joman to be allowed to return home so soon after his surgery. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Smiles, Tears, and Puke. Hospital visit days are probably my favorite because they help me keep all of the office work in perspective. Today we picked up nine Palestinian kids and brought them to the hospital for echo. We joyfully headed into the hospital for a busy day. All of the echos went smoothly. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Proverbs 13:12."Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.". Today's two hospital visits so perfectly displayed this verse. The difference between the two was like night and day. There are two main hospitals that do the heart surgeries for our Iraqi kids. Right now we have 3 kids between the two. The first hospital was so sad. Day: The second hospital was a completely different story. Joy was abounding in ICU! Joyed that he was out of surgery?

Following Where God Leads. Sunday, May 27, 2012. So a lot has happened since the last time I wrote. We have packed up our house, put stuff in storage, got on a plane, and returned home to Canada. Overall everything has gone smoothly. Well, almost everything. Once that decision was made I was again escorted down the elevator, through the scary door with the scary guard holding the scary gun, and back into the x-ray office. We put everything back into the duffel bag (minus the cap guns) and sealed it up.
