Check in to see what's new with ju xo. What I came here to do – finally volunteering! March 13, 2014. My first weekend in Bali was amazing – the hike up Mount Batur was definitely the highlight. We were picked up at 2:30am, driven one hour to the base of the volcano, then by 3:45am, we started the trek! As well, relying on the limited number of flashlights we had to guide us up the trail, I was impressed no one had a bad fall! The first day of volunteering was incredible!
