Wednesday, June 29, 2011. So many things to say this week! I am LOVING my new area Pombal (po (as in pony) -m-bow (as in take a bow! It’s about 7 hours from João Pessoa and one of the farthest away areas in the mission. It’s really hot because it’s the desert! The landscape reminds me of Nevada- Which is weird to feel a little at home but in another country! Tuesday, September 27, 2011. So I need to start out by saying I’m sorry. I´m sorry for not writing faithfully every. Week- to be honest, I’m just getting lazy! My life here seems so normal and I don’t know what else to say. Let me think about what happened this week. We had a baptism this week! Ha ha, he is pretty funny. Monday, January 31, 2011. I sent a picture. I am just really excited to leave this old nasty molding house. This week was normal. It’s really hot here, but a different type of heat. My other area was hot, but we were constantly sweating. Here, it feels like the sun is just frying your skin. I think it’s more of a dry heat. Who knows? Monday, December 27, 2010. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I did! What did we do this week. hmm. We started out the week with `Natal Blanco` or White Christmas. Not like the ones I used to know. ha ha! Our zone had a night where everyone met at one chapel to have baptisms. We didn’t have any, and arrived too late, but there was one advantage. Monday, February 28, 2011. Life as a trainer. This short week has been a good one. Being a trainer is a lot different than what I thought it would be. I forgot how much I have learned here over time and am realizing that I have a lot to teach. I am also learning patience :). Wednesday, April 27, 2011. This week was really great. It rained again, and again, and I think we were the only ones singing and happy on the street this week. I love this weather! My companion and I celebrated Easter American style! I told her how we make Easter baskets with gifts inside, and hide eggs around the house. We made baskets for each other! She actually made a paper basket for me and also hid paper eggs! She was more American that I! Well have a great week! I love you all and miss you :).

Sunday, February 8, 2009. Due to the bad weather in December, J's orchestra concert at Eastlake was cancelled. But with You Tube, we are able to view the concert. J's on left stage, right up front.
