Sheep and Goats at Folsom Farms
http://www.folsomfarms.com/sheepgoats.html
Sheep and Goats Calendar. Sheep, in gorgeous winter coats, grazing. Our foray into shepherding wasn’t so much about food as it was about loving fiber arts: spinning, crocheting, knitting, felting and weaving. We have maintained a family of dairy goats in the past for the pleasure of fresh milk. Today they serve as companions to our wethers. If there’s a sheep you would like to meet let us know and we’ll arrange it! Site design by CappellettiDesigns.com.
About Folsom Farms
http://www.folsomfarms.com/about.html
Front pasture, January 2011. Our family followed their bliss from cities across the US to the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee in 2004. We had always maintained backyard gardens and dreamed of homesteads but our passion grew as we became more interested in the growing and processing of our food stuffs. We don’t use artificial hormones, unnecessary antibiotics, chemical pesticides, herbicides or irradiation. Site design by CappellettiDesigns.com.
Chickens and Eggs at Folsom Farms
http://www.folsomfarms.com/chickens.html
Chickens Sheep and Goats. Chickens in ex-flower bed. They’re beauties even in the fall. Eggs It seems like this kitchen staple gets ignored too often. Folsom Farms' chickens are anything but ignored. Our chickens are given the luxury of sunshine, fresh grass and sweet little nighttime roosts. We never use artificial lighting, or add ingredients to our corn-scratch supplements. Doing things the old fashioned way may be slower and more time consuming but the results are unbeatable.
