This turned out so fabulous! 1 small head purple cabbage, shredded. 1 ripe mango, diced. 1/2 red pepper, diced. 1 zucchini, diced. 1/2 purple onion, diced. 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped fine. 1 serrano pepper, seeds and veins removed (unless you like more heat, then leave them in). Saturday, October 23, 2010. 1 1/2 cup warm water. 1 Tbsp. yeast. 2 Tbsp. sugar. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 cube melted butter. Combine yeast and water, mix slightly, and let sit for 2 minutes. Add salt and sugar, and stir until dissolved. Add flour, mix. Pour melted butter on baking sheet, and roll out dough on lightly floured surface. Place on buttered sheet, and cut into strips. Let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. Sunday, October 10, 2010. Make french toast - cut into cubes, set aside.

Friday, December 18, 2009. I know what you're thinking - you don't like cranberries, right? I first tried this when my sister made them for thanksgiving, and I loved them so much, I made it for a ward relief society dinner. Most of the women claimed to not like cranberry anything, and most of them loved this! 1 (12 oz) bag of fresh cranberries. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 small can of manderine oranges. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. 3 cups shredded zucchini. 1/4 tsp. cloves. 2 tsp baking soda.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Yes - you read that right, I made laundry soap. Here's what you'll need:. 1 bar of soap. 1/2 cup washing soda (different than baking soda). Grate your bar of soap fine. Use a food processer if you have one, it's a whole lot easier! Add your borax and washing soda to the food processor and mix away for a minute or so. Use 2 tbsp. per load of laundry. Thursday, February 11, 2010. 1 lb Italian sausage. 1 cup chopped onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 28 oz can crushed tomatoes.

Friday, February 25, 2011. Whole Wheat Fruit Pizza. Whole Wheat Cookie Crust. 2 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp. baking powder. 1 cup softened butter (not margarine). 1/2 tsp. salt. Mix and spread out on a jelly roll pan (cooking sheet with slightly raised edges). Bake at 375 for 18-20 minutes. 1 - 8 oz. block of cream cheese. 1 1/2 cup powder sugar. Cool cookie crust completely (at least 1 hour). Spread the frosting spread over the crust. Then add your fruit slices.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. 3 1/2 cups fresh apples, washed, peeled and sliced. 1/4 cup clear jel. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. 1 cup apple juice. 2 tbsp. lemon juice. 6 quarts fresh apples, washed, peeled and sliced. 1 1/2 cups clear jel. 2 Tbsp. cinnamon. 1 1/4 cup water. 5 cups apple juice. 3/4 cup lemon juice. Soak the apples in water with lemon juice to prevent browning. Combine sugar, clear jel. Add lemon juice and continue stirring. Monday, September 21, 2009.
