Life and style of a dietetics student. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The Day The Earth Stood Still. The day has finally come and gone. I finished my internship on June 15, 2012, took a few weeks to relax, and then got my study on. Finally, yesterday was the day I signed up to take the RD exam. After constant heart palpitations for about an hour and a half I walked up to the test site administrator and got my results.I passed! I'm now a Registered Dietitian :) Best day ever! Life and style of a dietetics student. I don't have some sort of amazing weight loss story to share with you. I went through a period of "baby fat" as my mom would call it from about 4th grade to 6th grade but then I started getting into school sports and naturally fell into eating better so that along with a growth spurt resulted in a healthier body. So instead I've decided to share some of my life in pictures. Welcome to the World. Pretending to be Mary Poppins? Girl Scouts ("baby fat" stage).

Life and style of a dietetics student. Thursday, April 28, 2011. On the Road Again. Home again this weekend! Back and forth a lot lately it seems. I really don’t think I can handle anything more than the 3 hours it takes to drive! Whew But I’m super excited because tomorrow is the baby shower for my sis-in-law! Great excuse to be home right before finals :). I started out the morning in Boston with a pretty substantial breakfast. Spinach and mushroom omelet, berries, and a muffin. Starting the Day Right.

Life and style of a dietetics student. Monday, September 26, 2011. Where Oh Where Have I Been? I swear my life is more exciting. I’ll just take a minute to re-cap my summer. I worked with my brother at his photography studio as an assistant. I did everything from marketing to videography to editing. It was so much fun and I got to spend a lot of time with family which was great. Speaking of family, my niece was born in May. Her name is Danielle Layla and she’s a cutie! I’m such a kid still.

Those 5 weeks sure flew by, partially I believe because of Thanksgiving break and then there was also a snow day. Add in 3 “class days” and I really only got to spend 19 days instead of 25!
