Y'all nevermind me. January 25, 2010. This is a good way to keep fennel and it goes great with burgers or other rich food that needs a crunchy addition. 3/4 c Red Wine Vinegar. 1/2 c Brown Sugar. Thinly slice the fennel. Heat the Red Wine Vinegar and add brown sugar until you begin to lose the sharpness of the vinegar. Add a sachet of the herbs to the liquid. Put the sliced fennel in a container and cover with the pickling liquid and the sachet. Let marinate and then enjoy. From → Uncategorized.
