Valentine’s day with the Kids | Foodie Family Eats

https://foodiefamilyeats.wordpress.com/2010/01/29/valentines-day-with-the-kids

From dirt to dish and from spoon to mouth. Valentine’s day with the Kids. So here we are and Valentine’s day is approaching somewhere between shuttling the children to and from classes and school, and working on projects, I guess I should consider what our plan is. Do I buy/make cards from the children for family members? For places to go and eat with the kids in tow at either breakfast, lunch, or dinner here are a few suggestions. Our slightly less local than it was toy store, Henry Bear’s Park. You are...

On Ramping, Off Ramping: Just give me ramps | Foodie Family Eats

https://foodiefamilyeats.wordpress.com/2011/05/05/ramps

From dirt to dish and from spoon to mouth. On Ramping, Off Ramping: Just give me ramps. As a parent of school-aged children and a stay at home parent (occasional work at home parent), I have seen this little word that buzzes by me periodically “on-ramping”. I love to write and I have a close relationship with my OED. Among other shops I’m sure.). So what have I done with my ramps lately? S olive oil roasted almonds. Speaking of last weekend, we had family over for brunch and I was in the midst of putting...

We have been to the Culinary Institute of America for our big adventure, lived at a NY inn, and are now settling back into Oregon where we can love on family! Friday, January 19, 2018. My sweet sister has inspired me to blog on.and when I missed the wanting to blog, I started to read the backlog. Why did I stop? My kids are both over six feet tall now.one over 18 that loves the outdoors with cattle and ranching and anything outside, and one that just finished her fist college advising session today.

Foodie Family Denver

Dining out with kids in Denver. Saturday, September 3, 2016. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Perhaps I was too quick to judge. I may have been a little hasty in judging Campagna Salumi Bar and Pizzeria. While it is still not the restaurant I was hoping to open around the corner, the food is definitely good and creative, though limiting in scope. If they continue to produce high quality, ever changing specials, like the risotto with pesto and shrimp I had on the last visit, then I will most likely be returning.
