How's your Hunger? December 3, 2012. Café by the Ruins. Our first stop in Baguio was in Café by the Ruins. We arrived a bit early for breakfast so we waited at a nearby McDonalds until it opened at 7 AM. I have been going to Baguio since I was very little and even if this place is very popular, it was the first time that I have been here. Filipino Lon-Si-Log (P245) – Longganisang hubad (marinated pork cubes), sinangag (garlic rice), itlog (sunny side up egg). I am very fond of ensaymadas with lots of che...

Haru Sushi Bar and Restaurant | FoodieServed
https://foodieserved.wordpress.com/2013/01/31/haru-sushi-bar-and-restaurant
How's your Hunger? January 31, 2013. Haru Sushi Bar and Restaurant. We found Haru within the areas of Kapitolyo during one of our trips to find new places to eat. Haru is easy to spot due to the japanese lanterns hanging around on the entrance to the restaurant. The first thing you’ll notice when you enter the restaurant is the feel of Japanese authenticity, with their waiters and waitresses wearing japanese clothing and the giant sushi bar near the entrance of the restaurant. How's your Hunger? December 22, 2012. This place is a perfect spot to take a break from the Baguio scene, as it is fairly secluded (even if it is beside the main road). The staff is very friendly and you can feel the laid-back atmosphere from the place once you enter the door. According to the waitress we asked, the owner of the place was a very well-traveled woman who took a lot of pictures of her travels, which she had very well incorporated when she first opened the establishment. The bill was another...

Cheers to good food and great places. La Union: Halo Halo de Iloko. La Union: Ma-Cho Temple →. Manila: National Museum of the Philippines – National Art Gallery. April 14, 2013. I just woke up one day realizing that the last time I visited the National Museum of the Philippines was more than a decade ago during a school field trip. So my sister and I decided to brave the harsh summer sun to visit the museum (outside temperature was 35 degrees). National Museum of the Philippines. Spoliarium by Juan Luna.

The Sensitive Foodie
Sunday, 16 August 2015. In the UK, summer seems to have disappeared! Fortunately, though, the gorgeous seasonal fruit hasn't. This really is my favourite time of year for delicious, fragrant fresh fruit that's packed full of flavour and fabulous nutrients to keep us healthy. As well as flavour, the other great benefit of eating summer fruits in the summer is that they provide you with specific nutrients that protect the part of you that's at risk at this time of year - your skin. I don't tend to buy wate...
