Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. I’m not a frequent customer of this place but I know they serve delicious spareribs and yang chow. So obviously, you already know what we had for lunch. Manne wanted some fried rice so even if the serving is good for 3-4, we ordered a plate of Yang Chow fried rice. P250) As always, it was flavorful. There were generous cuts of meat and scrambled egg. We ordered two viands to share – Fried Tofu. P125) and Spicy Spareribs. Bwaha Dinaan ako sa kwento e! G/F SM Mall of Asia.

Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. Lareina wanted to try Soi but I told her that I already tried it so I suggested to go to Jatujak instead. Jatujak serves thai dishes too just like Soi. So here’s what we shared for our lunch. Tom Yum Chicken Medium or Tom Yum Gai. Php 175) is a soup dish with chicken chunks and vegetables that tasted like Sinigang. The combination of sourness and saltiness flavor of the soup is just right. Also, the serving is big enough for four people. 2/F SM Mall of Asia. It’s a...

Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. Valentino Resort and Spa. It was 9 or 10 in the morning when we arrived at the place. I immediately asked the receptionist if we can check-in early. Actually, my friend Je. Asked me if I heard the old lady saying " oo nga, pagbibigyan na namin kayo mag check-in pero ngayon lang, next time hindi na pede. Parang galit, tinanong ko lang naman kung pede na mag check-in. But I honestly didn't hear that. It was Kriska. Jacuzzi at the corner of the pool. After roaming around th...

Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. Game Night with Girlfriends at Solaire. My friends and I have been so busy this week. Work schedules, hectic deadlines, working hour extensions and the likes. So our usual stress buster is eating and walking away from our office. Either we do window shopping at Mall of Asia or drink milk teas. But lately, we level up a bit. We are having lunch at SnR ( level up na to sakin. P230) with two scoops of mashed potato and bread. It's the mashed potato that I love :). I spent P...

Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. It was another Friday for my girlfriends and me so we’re off for another lunch out. Manne was sick during that time so she preferred to eat in a place that serves any soupy dishes. One rule that we stick on to is that, we can’t eat in a fancy restaurant if it’s not payday yet ( fancy na pag gagastos ng P300. M Haha. It has generous large cuts of fish fillet too. It was good. I liked it. But I guess the thickness of the soup and the flavor were not proper ...P265) When th...

Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. Estrellas de Mendoza Playa Resort. First day of March and I’m off with my office friends for my first summer escapade of the year (actually, first and last). This is another late post but not as late as my Ilocos posts. :p. Bottomline, we only wanted to find a place where we can unwind and swim to beat the summer heat! Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. Day before my sister's wedding, she checked-in us at The Linden Suites. Hotel in Ortigas. The exterior of the hotel was not attractive at all. The reception area didn't wow me as well. But the moment I entered our two – bedroom suite, it just blew me away. Haha. It was my first time to check-in in that kind of room – big and really spacious. The living room also has a television (walang away sa TV talaga :p). Me,My cam and My Journey to Life. It was dinner time already when we finished dressing up ourselves after using the swimming pool of Richmonde Hotel. We wanted to eat at the hotel’s restaurant but everyone looked so formal (I’m wearing shorts) so we decided to just eat out. We were supposed to just buy a Subway sandwich at Podium but the adjacent fast food caught my attention. Madeca is serving Filipino and Mexican food like burritos, tacos, burgers, Sisig and Lechon kawali rice meals and more. After eat...

Tuesday, December 2, 2014. PASSION, VISION and COURAGE. Photo Credit: bp.blogspot.com. 8220;Just do what you love"- we hear this ALL the time! A career mantra commonly shared in the 21st century. But, is this really the formula for success? Maybe, as many success stories have sworn on it,. But, have you ever wondered what happened otherwise? The Foodie's Food Trip
About The Foodie's Food Trip. For the past few months, this is the recipe that I'm trying to perfect - French macarons. The first time I tried a French macaron was from Bizu Patisserie from the Philippines. Then we went to Paris and tried some macarons from Ladurée and Fauchon. oooh they were melt-in-your-mouth heaven! Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of the ones from Ladurée. As you can see from the photos below, they have pointed tops. Even when I rapped then to death, they won't go away. So it ...Here'...
