How Art Thou Fallen?: November 2016
http://howartthoufallen.blogspot.com/2016_11_01_archive.html
How Art Thou Fallen? Wednesday, 9 November 2016. I Know What You're Thinking. I mean, if you're reading this blog (1). You're almost certainly thinking, again. How did this happen? I think in part it happened because. We don't know how it happened. Cracked ran an article about the reasons for Trump's appeal in rural counties. Of wealthy arsehole politician. He might screw over the little guy; Hillary, in the eyes of the little guy, definitely would. As was once said of Margaret Thatcher in compar...1) I ...

How Art Thou Fallen? Tuesday, 22 March 2016. 2016 in Pictures - 21st March 2016. So, the purpose of this project is to provoke me to note my surroundings more. Clearly it's not working, as yesterday I zoned out enough to miss my stop and spend an hour on Downham Market station. This is a heron's nest; honest. Sadly, since spotting it the first time (when my phone was inside my jacket,) I've never seen either parent on the nest, let alone both together. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Out of My Mind.

How Art Thou Fallen? Tuesday, 29 March 2016. 2016 in Pictures - March 29th. On my way to work today I got held up by a cancelled train. Sitting at Littleport station in the sunshine, I was surprised by spots of rain, and looked up to see the sky over the town turning slate grey. Thankfully that lot didn't break over us, but it looked ominous for a while. Labels: 2016 in pictures. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a thirtysomething polyamorous father, writer and gamer. How Art Thou Fallen? Tuesday, 20 September 2016. Adventures in phone repair. I took my phone in to be repaired last Monday. On Friday I got a text telling me the repair wasn't covered by my warranty, so they'd send a quote to the store where I handed it in. I spent the weekend geeing myself up for an argument. On Monday I went into the shop. They have no idea why it's not covered, only that the fee quoted is £25. I went to the shop, but they don't keep records for more than a year. Other Places I Live.

How Art Thou Fallen? Thursday, 7 April 2016. 2016 in Pictures - 1st and 5th April. Castles in the Air. Trees and buildings floating above the fog. A hiccup with the camera meant that I missed the shot I really wanted but this captures most of the effect. This was just a particularly gorgeous sunset on the way home after the cinema on Tuesday. How Art Thou Fallen?: August 2015

How Art Thou Fallen? Tuesday, 25 August 2015. Conspiracy Theories in Polyamorous Relationships. There is always the fear, in polyamory, that your partners and metamors are plotting against you. I have proof that this is happening to me, from our holiday game of Ticket to Ride. Me: "Wait, wait. That's a grey route.". Me: "But you played an orange card.". Hanna: "You can play any cards to build grey routes.". Me: "And you didn't think this was something that I needed to know? I'm not saying I would have won.
How Art Thou Fallen?: July 2015
http://howartthoufallen.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
How Art Thou Fallen? Thursday, 9 July 2015. Life, it's what you make it. I was initially a little grumpy about the price, but this is definitely 95p. Worth of toast. (I may have had, like, no. Pictures to put on this.). I'm a big one for routine, I can not deny it; a creature of habit. I like my morning cuppa, my early Friday home time and Sunday brunch with Hanna and Arya. Less awesomely, we missed the renewal letter for Arya's swimming classes, which means we'll be canceling from next. Medkit, 40K style.
How Art Thou Fallen?: September 2015
http://howartthoufallen.blogspot.com/2015_09_01_archive.html
How Art Thou Fallen? Tuesday, 8 September 2015. It's been a bit of a day so far. I woke up, rolled over to see how long I had to go until my 6 o'clock alarm, and found that it was 6:35. Either the alarm didn't go off, or I cancelled it without even noticing; either way, I was running late, so I had to rush out of the house without tea. I got into work, had a shower, then came to the office and found that my computer wouldn't connect to the internet. At all. This slogan is used apparently without irony.

Food of the Apples
Food of the Apples.

Food of the Blue
Food of the Blue. Being an account of my eating habits, to serve as both a recipe store and a motivational tool for myself. Tuesday, 22 March 2016. This one is a bit of a classic which I semi-improvised around. The onions and garlic should be good and chunky in this recipe. The carrots should be in fat slices and the mushrooms quartered. This is a hearty, rustic stew, so the veg should be chunky. 6 thick rashers bacon (or pack of pancetta or lardons). 6 chicken thighs, bone in. Sunday, 2 August 2015.
