It's in the Bag! Farm to School Program. Specifically, each month, lessons will revolve around a ‘Harvest of the Month’ -a local, in-season item. Classrooms lessons will be coupled with a elementary school taste test of the Harvest of the Month, the food being incorporated into cafeteria meals, and information and recipes sent home to parents recapping what the students ate and how they can recreate it at home.
