News & Events. How You Can Help. Welcome to Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare. OUR MISSION: We rescue food, share food and empower people so that no one in our region goes hungry. We rescue over 47.8 tonnes of food from being wasted every month. We share our rescued food with over 100 welfare agencies, schools and neighbourhood centres to give to people in need. We supply the equivalent of over 1.3 million meals to people in need each year. On any given day 2,223 people need food assistance in our region.
