Just another WordPress.com weblog. An ode to chefs. June 9, 2011 in Uncategorized. I realised once I had been two minutes working in the cooking school I was working with chefs. Its funny you can work in many places that have people who cook but when you are around people who are either professionally trained or formally trained to be chefs, there is a difference in the whole atmosphere. The classes I have been working with has that sort of ballet lesson after lesson. What makes a professional chef.

One of the things which annoys me about commercial yogurt is, most of the range I have to choose from are either full of sugar, devoid of fat or have so much milk powder or gelatine added that they hardly taste like anything resembling yogurt. To buy a good yogurt I have to pay a great deal for. Why the paranoia about full fat yogurt? Fat in full fat yogurt is not high, and hardly high enough to be a worry.
