May was a busy month what with finishing school (for good), having some family for graduation (fun) and moving (fun in a lame kind of way). June has been exciting too so here's a quick rundown of what's been going on with a few pictures to bring sense to my rambling. Refractions have never been so delicious! Wow, that was longer than I expected. Anyway on to Lucy's big birthday celebration! Ta-dah, great job Susan!

The Ellis Family: March 2015
http://ellistexasfamily.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
March 31, 2015. Brooke had her 11th birthday last week. I can hardly believe she is that old and at the same time she seems older than that. I feel like I have known her forever. On her birthday we were in Disneyland for spring break, so we had to do cake and ice cream almost a week late. She also has decided to try her hand at "selfies" recently. I think she will be a pro in no time. Parker had his 9th birthday back in January. It was a good day. He did great in the races and came in third place overall.

Sunday, February 15, 2009. People who steel themselves from sorrow are also stealing themselves of joy — for you simply cannot block out one and enjoy the fullness of th. Why do we try to hide our emotions? We spend so much time trying to feel something else. We spend so much time fighting within ourselves, telling ourselves how we should feel about something. Emotions add richness to the world and to life. We can learn as much from the hard time as we can the happy times. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
