From Woodville Nova Scotia to the World! Summer is here again. We will have cherries this year - unless the birds get there first! The apples are growing and pumpkins are planted. The bees have made their trip to the blueberry fields, and are back home .They will now be out looking for wildflowers. The early apples will be ready in September. Sweet apple cider is in the freezer . We will start pressing again soon. There is still some honey available. In your container: $3.50 per pound.

It's what's for dinner. Sunday, March 22, 2015. Mom's Marinated Turkey Breast (or any other meat marinade). I never make this without someone asking for the recipe. 1 c soy sauce. 1 c vegetable oil. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Well, December has come and gone. We successfully celebrated two birthdays, the Christmas season, and New Year's eve. Whew.this is a busy month! December started with my birthday. We had a terrific shrimp pasta dinner at our house with my folks. It was a fun evening hanging out and enjoying good food! Here Kieran is with his birthday "cake," which is really a compilation of the desserts from the buffet: cinnamon rolls, brownies, and dessert pizza! Of course, we did a candle:).
