Do I look like a Bhabhi (sister-in-law) who would buy hapoos at a traffic signal? Two days into my trip I promptly fall ill. I’m behaving embarrassingly like an NRI (non-resident Indian) even though I barely qualify to be one. Seven days in and I am missing Turkey. I miss the walks on the promenade and drinking cay from my favorite café. I feel adrift here.
