Jun 11, 2008. 常言道：「到處楊梅一樣花」。我說：楊梅處處，花不一樣。 機緣巧合，有機會到美加兩地一行，時間是我旅行以來最長的：歷時共 39天；到過的地方也是最多的：計有紐約、尼加拉大瀑布、多倫多、千島、加拿大首都渥太華、滿地可、大西洋城、美國西點軍校、波士頓、羅德島、華盛頓、費 城。 走了一圈後，雖是浮光掠影，但記憶猶新。我覺得美國這個國家是美麗而富庶的，相對來說也是自由的，難怪每天都有人發美國夢。 我酷愛攝影，每次旅行都用相機作記錄。這次嘗試用文字把旅程記錄下來，當我垂垂老矣的時候，可以有個難忘的回憶吧！ 年輕時在大陸讀書，生長在一個不幸的年代，那時讀書是被「分配」讀俄文，其實如果讀所謂英文也學不了多少。不懂英文 一直是我的憾事！五個多月前忽發奇想：是否可以對著電腦自學英語呢？於是一試。這次有機會到美加旅行，有別於以往跟著旅行團做鴨仔，從出門後每一步都要事 事親歷親為，尤以到一個英語系國家為然。...3) 好使好用「Excuse me, I cannot speak English.」. 新澤西州是一個美麗的州。名符其實，這裡的車牌也寫上 garden sta...千里之行，...

Jun 13, 2008. 偷得浮生十日閒，我到新加坡逛了十天。以下是我的觀感與見聞。 新 加坡距離香港 1,400-多公里，但距赤道只有140-多公里。十足十的熱帶氣候，11月還是攝氏33度。我慣於烈日遠足，因此不覺怎樣。事實上我更喜歡熱帶氣候多 些，旅行時會少帶很多衣服。當地居民衣著十分隨便，短褲T恤替代錦衣紈褲，女士們的吊帶裙也會放低一些以適應酷熱的天氣。大學生是允許穿拖鞋上課的。 新 加坡旅遊局不遺餘力地宣傳他們的美食。我對食物的要求很低，首先是不要吃後肚痛；其次是不要煮熟後放置大久冷冰冰的。在新加坡的十天，我從沒見過一間香港 式的酒樓、茶室，幾乎是清一色大排檔，賣的是早已煮熟的食物，而且冷氣欠奉。當地居民也習以為常。在唐人街的確是有一間標榜什麼香港式飲茶的，那是專賺鬼 佬錢的店子，不是常人消費的地方。如果你不是剛在飯市繁忙時候光顧，一定要吃冷飯菜汁了。十分幸運，...新 加坡人口只有四百一十萬，是香港人口一半多些；土地面積也是香港一半多些。但是人口密度遠比香港低，因為這裡沒有一個高山。最高的武吉知馬山也只有不到 ...自 從脫離馬來西亞獨立以後，新加坡已是一個國家了&...
