This page holds a special place within my heart. It is a dedication to my big brother, Jim, who lost his fight to Pancreatic and Liver Cancer, on September 2, 2002. He lived in Charlotte, N.C, where he retired at the age of 62. He leaves his Sweetheart of a wife, Virginia and Three Children and Six Grandchildren, his Parents, Ann and Paul and his brothers, Mic and Jerry and myself his sister, JoAnne. He is sadly missed by all. As you read this, would you please remember his family in your prayers.

Disney Wide World Of Sports. MY FIRST TRANSPLANT GAMES! I can't believe I made it here! I came, to participate in the 2000 Transplant Olympic. Games for Team Ohio. I participated in the 1500 Racewalk. I didn't finish first, but I completed a dream of mine! This is an experience that I will never forget! I made so many wonderful new Friends, from all all over the world. And heard so many Heartwarming Stories. In 2yrs. I'll be back, to compete in more sporting activities! Wait to you see me then!

Where do I begin? In 1972, I had a Hysterectomy at the age of 25. During my surgery, I was given a blood transfusion, which at that time; the blood was not really tested for deadly disease. Now all of the blood is carefully tested for all diseases. Even though I was a Picture of Health, I knew something was wrong but I didn't know what? I went from one Specialist to another and many unnecessary surgeries, only to find out; in 1989 I had Hepatitis C. (A very chronic and debilitating disease). There were m...

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Mixed feelings, struggles. They are just m awesome classmates in TP! Another thing, well, all these months has passed by, and things are just like this. I really want to talk, but do you know? I don't know if you do. Praying is the only thing that I can do. Praying and asking God. I want to feel the peace in me, inner peace.
