Girl Meets Purl: The parade of small FO's
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007/10/parade-of-small-fos.html
Monday, October 29, 2007. The parade of small FO's. I just got an amazing package in the mail courtesy of my good buddy Kasia, and I've been swatching for a luscious scarf all day. I think I've picked a good stitch pattern and I can't wait to wear it- -it's a beautiful day today, but it's getting colder here. I'm wearing my long underwear almost every day now. Hopefully I'm back on track ladies and gentlemen! Those mittens for your mother are just wonderful! Hope all is well in your world. Tag, you're it!

Girl Meets Purl: 2007/06
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Apologies for all of the pics and no text. I am not much of a writer at the moment! Jess at the ranch in her "new" sweater. (Forecast Sweater originally made for myself, however it's not even a close fit on me. Much too small.) Loved the project though. Loved the yarn (Cascade 220) and loved the buttons. Sake was not a happy camper, at first. The mermaid fountain in the back! The back house and shop. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I have to say that I haven't looked back since.

Girl Meets Purl: Before & After
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007/04/before-after.html
Thursday, April 05, 2007. Vickery - it looks like you worked wonders in a short time! I hope Sake is happy in her new home, as well as you and Bryant. Talk to you soon. PS - I'm almost done with the Icarus shawl but I've run out of yarn. Now I need to figure out how to comprise on the finishing. Looks like home, sweet home. I'm sure you all will be very comfortable there due to your hard work. Love the pillows. It looks great - and so cosy! Vic - your place looks great - so cute! View my complete profile.

Girl Meets Purl: Clapotis
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007/04/clapotis.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. Here is my finished Clapotis. Keeping me warm in the amazing little snowstorm that we woke up to yesterday. By 2:00 the snow had all melted but not before I took some amazing pictures of the ranch. I didn't realize how much I missed the snow until I moved back to Wyoming! Aw, Vick, it's gorgeous! I am still sitting on my yarn that's been set aside for it. What yarn did you use? It's a lovely colorway. Vickery - the Clapotis is beautiful, as is the snow! View my complete profile.

Girl Meets Purl: Cashmere Cowl and Questionable Socks
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007/04/cashmere-cowl-and-questionable-socks.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. Cashmere Cowl and Questionable Socks. My best friend Chrissy was the first person to give me special yarn for my birthday. It was cashmere and it was in the most perfect shade of pale green and I sat on it for about two years. The thought of knitting something with it was just to much- I didn't want to loose the anticipation of someday. I finally took the plunge and here it is as my version of the Cashmere Cowl in Last Minute Knitted Gifts. Oh well. Too late now!

Girl Meets Purl: The Hawser Sweater
http://vickeryknits.blogspot.com/2007/04/hawser-sweater.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Cross posted on the Zimmermaniacs Knit-Along. This is my Hawser sweater from Knitting Workshop. Knit with Jamieson's Shetland Double Knitting in Eesit. I changed the yoke colors to Eucalyptus, Granny Smith, Sage and Ivy and I love the result. Everything else was knit exactly to EZ's specifications. This was the most enjoyable and fastest sweater that I ever knit and I highly recommend the pattern. I am getting a lot of wear out of it! Great job, Vick! Wow, that's really cute.
