Monday, July 27, 2009. North Iowa Free Fair. Yesterday we spent another couple hours at the Free Fair just seeing the shows we missed the day before. So after seeing Derik off at the airport off to the fair we went. This was the day that we would see the Rainforest show and the Monkey show. We started with the Rainforest show and that wasn't what we thought it would be but we learned a lot of interesting facts about the Rainforest. He also brought out a snake and a bird to see. Then you collect the eggs.

Monday, February 8, 2010. Hello:) I'm so sorry that I haven't kept up on this blog. It's just so easy to go over to Facebook and post everything. Not a good excuse I know. So I'm very sorry. I do have some pictures from the last couple of months to post for you so I hope that you enjoy them. This past Saturday Isaac started indoor soccer. He doesn't like it as much as outdoor soccer but it's gets him running and out with his friends. Anyway not much else is going on. We still have Amber who is a bund...

Sunday, April 11, 2010. Monday, April 5, 2010. Well I hope that everyone enjoyed their Easter. We had a busy but fun weekend. Friday night we spent time with friends hanging out and making Easter baskets for kids who don't get to have a basket this year, we swam and just enjoyed talking. Saturday was spent relaxing and not doing a whole lot and Sunday we went to Des Moines to spend Easter with Derik's family where we had lunch and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. So it was a good weekend.

Thursday, December 3, 2009. Derik is busy with church. They are gearing up for a big vote in a couple of weeks. He also has been doing some flying. Matthias finished Ready, Set, Lego and now has a free day on his hands at least until the next event. He is still busy with Cub Scouts and the two after school programs at the church. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. First Day of School. Well school has started and both boys are finally in school after a long summer. Matthias started 4th grade and upon meeting his teacher sounds like a busy year for him with lots of new stuff to learn. They will be starting Multiplication right away and spelling pretty quickly. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. We had a visit from Santa. Who arrived in a firetruck. We had our Christmas program. Both of the boys did a great job. Isaac even took on a small speaking part. V is for visit: at Christmas we like to visit our family and friends. Each of the boys received for Christmas a gift that they asked for. We were blessed to have Amber with us for Christmas.
