I can't put my finger on why that is, but oh well. Later in the afternoon, we went to our dear friends' home for a fun Halloween party. We had a great time visiting with our pals, passing out candy, watching football, and eating (lots of pizza and candy.yum! It was great to change up our usual Sunday routine. To the best of times! Sunday, May 24, 2015. Self-awareness - first lessons. Self-fulfilling prophecies - I was right. And one ends up feeling proud at the end of this mirage of achievement. But, pride is the first enemy to humility. That is about as enlightened as I feel now! And pride does come before the fall!
