RC Nature Photos-Rachel Cohen. Letting Nature Speak For Itself. Sunday, June 9, 2013. A few weeks ago, I was able to attend a Civil War re-enactment at historic Greenfield Village. I love history, history from all time periods. This time it happened to be from the Civil War era. There were encampments from both the Union and Confederate sides, drills, exhibits, marches, food, medics, and just about anything you can think of from that time period. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). CELINE’S PHOTOGRAPHS OF KUWAIT AND FROM TRAVELS AROUND THE WORLD. Laquo; Kuwait Towers. In Egypt, under Ptolemy II, a road was built linking Marsa Alam and Edfu and is still in use. Tourists wishing to travel on this route used to do that in convoys until the recent past, and probably still do. Taxis needs to take prior permission from the relevant authorities before transporting tourists. I travelled on this road from Marsa Alam to Luxor one warm evening last year. Go watch many other skies at SkyWatch.

RC Nature Photos-Rachel Cohen : "Zapped"
http://rcnaturephotos.blogspot.com/2013/02/zapped.html
RC Nature Photos-Rachel Cohen. Letting Nature Speak For Itself. Thursday, February 21, 2013. For today's image I decided to go out of my comfort zone in processing and do something quite different for me! I started with an image of a lone tree in the fog. I have processed this image in the usual way previously. I love the way it looks in its natural state, but I thought, hey why not try something new! I titled this image Zapped because it gives me the feeling of electricity, or a tree hit by lightening!
