My Olympic Experiences (2010 and 2012). Sunday, July 22, 2012. Round 2 - Here I go Again. Most people can only dream about going to the Olympics. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the fabulous Vancouver Winter Games just over two years ago in the role as a volunteer for the Alpine Ski racing at Whistler. (See older blog posts). My Olympic Experiences (2010 and 2012). Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Day 21 - Time to rip, Games are gone. It's a good thing that I essentially had to wait 3 weeks to start skiing here. My legs are perfectly conditioned now, after spending 20 of the last 21 days on my skiis on the hill. Though I haven't been actually 'skiing' thoses days (except 2 of them), the course work that I have been performing has my legs and body in a great postion to ski the whole mountain.
