A few of my favorite things. We have 7th grade, 4th grade and 2nd grade. In my post about fitting into a mold. I explained that we follow a rather Classical, Charlotte Mason, unschooling approach of homeschooling. With that in mind, we are using the following curriculum this year:. History, science, language arts, math, Latin, fine arts, scripture memory, geography. Math level 6 and level 3 (for the 7th and 4th grader). Horizons math from Alpha Omega Homeschooling. Math level 1 for the 2nd grader.

A few of my favorite things. Sunday, May 18, 2014. Bringing things into focus. It has been crazy busy in my world these last few weeks. I had the blessing of attending a 3 day practicum for Classical Conversations as well as training for tutoring Essentials next year. Right now I'm extremely excited. Ask me again in a month or two and I may have a different answer. :-) Though it did remind me again how very much I love the other moms on our campus and how terrific our director is. Most of us intuitively know this, but have you ever wondered why? This week we did two simple experiments investigating the science of how candles burn.
