Melting Ice Caps Change Earth's Wobble. April 10, 2016. A new NASA study states that the Melting glaciers in Greenland and Antarctica are changing the way the Earth wobbles on its polar axis. The melting glaciers are redistributing 100s of trillions of kilograms mass every year. As a result of this redistribution of weight, the Earth's natural wobble is changing a little bit.
