Wednesday, December 24, 2014. As I write this, it’s Christmas Eve, not yet 5:pm. With so much reflecting which naturally takes place this season, this time of year, plus what has been happening around these parts anyway, I feel bursting with things to say, while also cautious and hesitant, so I hope whatever comes out is accurate and well-taken. When there are so many things to say, where can I even begin? That’s when my heart has been the most full. I’ve also been thinking a lot about what Christm...

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Pampers Underjams: A True Story. Can We Talk About Bedwetting? Like, really. I mean, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had experience with it at one point or another. Remember the plastic training pants from when we were little? Do parents still use those? Dealing with bedwetting as a parent is a chapter of its own. But what do you do when that chapter never seems to end? Mattress pads, having gone through (read: completely shredded from washing so often) THREE. Sometimes when ...

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Last week I attended a maturation program at an elementary school with my daughter who is in 5th grade. Each time I attend these presentations (she's my 3rd daughter to go through this at school, with Mom by her side) my mind is flooded with memories of my own experiences at that age. And this is why I'm really excited to tell you about GirlLux. One of their awesome products is the Pocket Pantie. Another cool product is their Debut Bra. A smarter version of a training bra....

Saturday, April 04, 2015. Trader Joe's in Provo - West of the Freeway. No] What about Springville or American Fork? No]), but what will happen is that a Trader Joe’s store will end up in Provo. This brings us to the next favorite thing people involved love to argue about: where? I’ve heard and read a lot of feedback: the Riverwoods, ShopKo’s old spot, East Bay (Kmart’s old spot), Downtown/City Center, by the Covey Center. There is no grocery store west of the freeway in Provo. Also, have you heard. And j...

Wednesday, December 05, 2012. So, last month, for book club, we read Mindy Kaling's book Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? I really enjoyed the book, and Mindy's writing style, and it really made me want to renew my commitment to write something, anything, for an hour every day. It also made me want to write funny TV shows with my friends, but that's not happening any time soon, so writing by myself for an hour a day it is! Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Sis and cousin N waiting in line at the Princess Fair. I bought Sis a set of small Princess figurines which she carried everywhere and played with when she was bored. Best. Purchase. Ever! Princess Ariel, Princess Lulu, Princess N and Princess Sis. Very shy at first. Still not too sure. I think it mostly amazed her to see the Princesses in real life size. The Greenest Grass: January 2012
http://greenestgrassfamily.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. Twas the Night Before Christmas. I taught the kids how to toast with their cups and now it is all they want to do at every meal. Next came watching the movie of their choice (Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer) in my bed. The yearly stairs/christmas jammies photo came after they wrote a letter to Santa along with leaving milk and cookies. Junior helpfully put out another list of the things they had asked for in case there was any question on Santa's end. Merry Christmas to all.

Friday, July 12, 2013. Scotland, Here We Come! Us with Sister Mair. President and Sister Mair back in the 60's when Roger was on his mission. Brother and Sister Peterson invited us to their home for dinner after the block of meetings, and we spent the afternoon with them. She and I had a common interest - we both collected bells. We visited at their home for awhile and then they drove us around Peterhead to see some of the areas that Roger remembered. A couple of more pictures, I found. Remember in a...

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Scotland, Here We Come! I'm not sure how to describe our afternoon wandering around Edinburgh and the Royal Mile. There was so much to see and we took so many pictures that we couldn't begin to put them all out on the blog. Here's a few of the highlights:. The red door is the entrance to the home of Robert Louis Stevenson, who wrote Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Walking down from Edinburgh Castle. More of Edinburgh.(and more stairs).

Sunday, February 7, 2010. Winter in the mountains and mountain valleys. The snow keeps coming and I keep shoveling it. We love the white look of everything around us. It does give me some exercise the old fashion way - work. I had to go to get hay for Spiffy and saw a beautiful bald eagle in a tree, looking over the snowey valley and probably looking for food. Thursday, December 21, 2017. LightTheWorld Day 21 (2017). I wrote a post for today's #LightTheWorld theme, For I was an hungered and ye gave me meat. And that post is here. On This Week in Mormons.
