STADTWIRKLICHKEIT is a platform for the construction of artificial worlds. Using the metaphorism of Italo Calvinos »Invisible Cities» the application requires the user to design their own »invisible city». LUCULUS was nominated for the Nachlux-Light-Award 2001 [17 best from 178] and exhibited on the International Furniture Fair in Cologne, Germany. An interactive table light. The rectangular plane is divided in 5 squares and 8 triangles. Magnets stabilize the folded cube. A porcelain plug connects the illuminated plane to cable and power source. For LUCULUS we are looking for a producer and marketer.
