Peter's Film Screening: The Avengers
http://petersfilmscreening.blogspot.com/2012/05/avengers.html
Monday, May 14, 2012. Is a very ambitious movie. After all, it took 5 movies ( Iron Man. To set up all these comic book characters. And that's not even counting the Ang Lee-directed Hulk. Movie With a star-studded cast and an out-sized Hollywood special effects budget, this was a big roll of the dice for Marvel/Disney. Not to mention the fact that they filmed the whole thing in 3 months. Frankly, if I didn't know better, I would expect this movie to be a big, shiny piece of Hollywood schlock, à la. Is cl...

Peter's Book Report: Intelligence: A Novel of the CIA
http://petersbookreport.blogspot.com/2010/07/intelligence-novel-of-cia.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Intelligence: A Novel of the CIA. I heard about this book on NPR, and it sounded interesting. Susan Hasler worked as a counter-terrorism analyst at the CIA for over two decades, and the NPR interview discussed some interesting topics like intelligence failures. So I requested the book from my local library and started it with some modestly high expectations. And while certain aspects of the book were illuminating and occasionally entertaining, Intelligence. They come across as hea...

I like water play at COSI and chewing on books. I also like to shriek and coo.and say "mmmba" when eating green beans. It's funny when my green beans spray everywhere! I'm not too motivated to crawl.but I can spin in a circle on my back and roll over. I'd rather sit and watch my brother. He's the most hysterical thing I've ever seen. I like to play peek-a-boo with Mommy and Daddy. It always surprises me! 1 Pajamas on Christmas morning. 2 Showing off their shirts that Mommy made for Aunt Anna's return.

A cold front's coming through." I'm trying to think positive and list all the things I like about colder weather.

Peter's Book Report: Arcadia
http://petersbookreport.blogspot.com/2011/07/arcadia.html
Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Is actually a play rather than a book, but I read it rather than saw it performed. I actually had never heard of the play before a friend proposed it for a book club. I. Was much more familiar with Stoppard's play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Which we also considered reading. The two plays have a lot in common, but I vastly preferred Arcadia. And couldn't believe that I had never heard of it before. It's hard to state concisely what. I absolutely loved Arcadia. 169; Fo...
